Description

Drug Interactions:

None when adhering to the recommended doses.

Side Effects:

High doses may cause anemia, crystallization and the presence of white and red blood cells in the urine.

Withdrawal Period :

Meat: 3 days from the last dose.

Preservation :

Store in a dry and dark place at a temperature not exceeding 25° C.

Indications

Indications :

It is used to treat coccidiosis in (broilers – layer – mothers) and in turkeys, rabbits, calves and lambs, especially the following types of Eimeria: Tenella – Mivati ​​- Brunetti and Necatrix.

Contraindications:

Allergy to amprolium.

It should not be given to chickens producing table eggs.

Dosing & Usage

Usage :

Oral administration by drinking water.

Dosing :

Poultry: 100 g /200 liters of water daily for 5 consecutive days.

Calves and lambs: 0.5 g /30 kg live weight for 5 consecutive days.

Properties

Amprolium has anti-coccidial activity, especially Eimeria tenella and Necatrix, and is characterized by its rapid solubility in water and ease of absorption from the intestine.
