Indications :
Chlortetracycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria such as Bordella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E.coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and some types of Mycoplasma in calves, lambs and birds, It is used for the treatment and control of diseases caused by mycoplasma and respiratory, digestive and reproductive infections such as (Necrotizing Enterocolitis, avian cholera and CRD) in birds.
Contraindications :
Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines , It is not given in case of kidney or liver problems.
Dosing & Usage
Usage :
It is given orally after dissolving it with drinking water.
Dosing :
Poultry: 40 g/200 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Sheep, calves and goats: 2 g/25 kg live weight twice daily for 3-5 days.
