Description

Drug Interactions :

When muscle relaxants (such as galamine, tuberocurarine, etc.) are indicated, an increase in neuromuscular inhibition may occur with a risk of respiratory paralysis.

Side Effects :

With an overdose, transient gastrointestinal disturbances such as flatulence, loose stools, and signs of neurotoxicity and urinary incontinence may appear

Withdrawal Period :

Meat and eggs: 2 days

Warning:

Do not use to treat calves and lambs for more than four consecutive days
Not given to ruminant animals
The water-dissolved preparation should be used within 24 hours of preparation

Preservation :

Store in a dry and dark place at a temperature not exceeding 25° C

Indications

Indications :

An antibiotic used in cases of diseases caused by Gram-negative bacteria in poultry, calves and lambs, especially in the case of gastrointestinal infections caused by E. coli, Klebsiella, Salmonella, Pasteurella and Pseudomonas

Contraindications :

Hypersensitivity to colistin

Dosing & Usage

Usage :

Orally, after dissolving it with drinking water

Dosing :

Poultry: 40 g per 200 liters of drinking water for 4-5 days
Lambs and suckling calves: 1 g per 50 kg live weight twice daily for 3-4 days
