Description
Drug Interactions:
None when adhering to the recommended doses.
Side Effects:
High doses in layer cause reduced ovulation and reduced growth in broilers.
It may also cause anemia, crystallization of urine and the presence of white and red blood cells in the urine.
Withdrawal Period :
Meat: 14 days from the last dose.
Preservation :
Store in a dry and dark place at a temperature not exceeding 25° C.
Indications
Indications :
It is used to treat coccidiosis in birds, calves, sheep and goats.
Contraindications:
Not to be given to animals with liver or kidney problems.
Allergy to amprolium and sulfaquinoxaline.
Dosing & Usage
Usage :
Oral administration with drinking water.
Dosing :
Poultry: 200 g /400-200 liters of water daily for 7-5 consecutive days.
Or according to a program (3 days of treatment – 2 days of rest – 3 days of treatment).
Calves, sheep and goats: 5 g /100-50 kg live weight in drinking water or milk daily for 5 days.
Properties
Amprolium has anti-coccidial activity, especially Eimeria tenella and Necatrix.
Sulfaquinoxaline is also an antibacterial for many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and has anti-coccidial activity.
